I also think they qualify Granlund, Gaunce, Boucher, and whatever other farm hands are RFA’s in Utica.

He will go shopping for a top 6 winger and a top 4 D, I just don’t think our idea of what this is will be the same as what will be available to the Canucks this off season.

if you were drafted four/five years ago and you’re still developing, you’re probably not going to be an impact player. That’s what I mean. Benning and company need to find a Point, Marchand, Heinen, Arvidsson, Lindblom, Aho, etc.

I will say this, the past two years (drafts) have been vastly improved from the previous three years.

I’m sure there are some guys he could have drafted in round 2 way back when that would be playing now instead of Sven on the IR, or Vey in the KHL, or Sutter or Gudbranson or etc. Team tried to fast track, it didn’t work, I hope they learned from that.
