It's all in perspective. If it means the Sabres get a great asset for only one year of an overpriced guy, why does it matter? He's a great 4th liner and PK. Obviously overpaid, it's not like anyone is saying they want Callahan, it's, you take him, we give you a great asset.

Personally, I wanted the Kruger and Teraveinen trade. I'll take a bum for a year young top 6 player. Yeah. Especially when you've got more than enough cap space to field a competitive team.
