I suppose it depends which WAR model we're talking about. But I know for a while there the GAR model that was floating around twitter gave equal value to FO/pen diff as it did to things like EV scoring.

If you rarely start in D zone how can you really have opportunities to transition?

As long as you don’t complain when Tage becomes an effective middle 6 winger on this club and I “break my arm patting my back” like I do with 80% of my takes we’ll be alright.

doesn't this cut both ways? If we had players who could make plays, we'd have more goals. It's the whole reason teams invest heavy in centres instead of wingers, they usually ride their coattails.
