You guys up North are supposed to be good at Math.

This isn't good math.

Please use good math in the future.

There are 8 other teams in 2 conferences that played at least 4 more games than Toronto. There are 7 other teams that lost as many games as them in the first round. So there are 15 teams as bad as or better than Toronto in the NHL as of this date and until next season. There are also 15 teams that they are better than.

Sounds like mediocrity to me. And before you retort:

The Sabres win % all-time: .534

Leafs: .511

So it seems like you guys would know more about that than us, since the second you had actual competition, your team has been more irrelevant than the one you constantly poop on that's a tick South and still a better, cheaper, and more fun option for a Maple Leafs fan than actually attending one of their own home games.

Guy, the Sabres bills are paid by Leaf fans when the Leafs come to Barfalo. Other than those games, no one cares about the Sabres, they're irrelevant lol.

I love the comparisons from Boston to Krug's hit and Orr's goal back in the day; definitely time to immortalize an uncalled charge...would be very NHL Playoffs 2019. Maybe a bronze statue of Chara obstructing a player that is about to blow by him after dumping it in his corner for the 5th time in a game is in the works too? Hopefully they can fit in a ref "looking the other way" to really capture the playoff vibe this year.

When dealing with you people...options are pretty limited, bud.

Or you know. You could not bring the Leafs up in an unrelated thread, then start trolling the fans while feigning righteousness. But hey, who am I to tell you to stop picking fights on the internet for no reason.

There is zero joy in living around Boston when their teams win. They are arrogant, yes, and deservedly so when it comes to football, but not hockey. The Bruins have been a good team, but not great team, for years. And the local media treats them as such. The Bruins get minimal coverage unless they are on a roll or in the playoffs, and then it's non-stop Bruins, as if everyone has been a fan since day one. This is no different from any other city. Band wagons occur everywhere, but when your team sucks (Anaheim) and your wife's team is a perpetual stinking mess (Philadelphia), it get's old really quick. Rooting for the Blues on this one.

Uhhh Eklund, hate to be the one to tell you this, but the Islanders had the agreement to split the home games at the coliseum and Barclays LAST year.... try and keep up, dude.

what sucks is all the publicity the Celtics get, and they're a joke.

Agreed. All the bandwagon Red Wings fans left a long time ago. It's just us die hards now. But they'll be back if Yzerman can make this team a winner again. Bruins have a much more loyal fanbase than the Red Wings do. Leaf fans are the most loyal. I've always respected that. Habs fans are right up there too. Same with Rangers and Flyers.

I've been a life long Red Wings fan for a long time. I grew up in Detroit in an unhappy blue-collar poor family.
