Do you folks ever stop bickering here?
I come here seldom but, every time I do?
It's a who has a bigger schlong contest.

Some of you need to seriously reassess life and find something more constructive to do with your time, wow.

I should have known better. 🤦‍♂️

meh...every league has ways of circumventing the cap...the nhl has a hard-cap so teams do what they have to do...t.o. had the assets, canes had the space...

doesn't bother me in the least

- Michael Pachla

Is it really circumventing? Giving up a first round pick is a very steep price to get rid of a contract with only one year remaining.

It's not blatant circumvention like the Pronger deal that had him making $7.6M per in the first 2 years and $575K in the last 2 years, or the Hossa deal that had him making $7.9M in the first 7 years and $1M the last 4.

They had to give up a mid first round pick. That's insanity.

Earlier years are better than later years. The finale finally gets the respect it deserved. The wire is still better.

The expectation is that the Marner camp will hear from teams when the RFA speaking period opens Wednesday.

A big ass bird, usually only one survives through childhood because the parents tend to care for the one born first and then the one born last gets killed by their sibling born earlier

The league should have stopped this trade. Precisely what’s wrong with the NHL
- lulags

Why? Cap space is an asset, a smart GM just used it.

The difference is Pat Kane does it by himself. Marner needs Tavares and Matthews.

Aaron looks like a solid pick, we must have traded up from 112 to 102 to get him but can’t find the trade
