There were 3 guys on the board and most experts had them ranked in the top 10
We drafted one of them
The over reaction gets old
I wanted Caulfield
I am p!ssed he is a Hab and in our division
But I liked Cozens and Zegras too
If two of the three of them were off the board and we took the one remaining nobody would be this p!ssed.
We still got a good player
The more I read about Johnson the more I like

This!
But I only see some depth players getting traded today
Maybe a Vesey trade
None of the big trades will be made until closer to Free Agency IMO since all the 1st round picks are gone |

We’re an hour before the start of the second round and it looks like talks between the general managers is higher than an hour before the start of first round yesterday. Interesting day ahead ?

If Alex Turcotte was the first real prize of the first round, Dylan Cozens was a close runner-up. He was one of the three players I debated as the No. 3 prospect in the draft in the back half of the season (alongside Turcotte and Bowen Byram). His ability to play out wide with his speed and length — while still having the presence of mind to make a lot of high-end plays in transition or off the cycle — should make him an excellent top-six centre and impact forward. He’s the perfect fit for the Sabres too, in that they desperately need a 2C to play behind Jack Eichel and he and Casey Mittelstadt can now challenge each other for those minutes. The Sabres did well.

I am hoping if anything this motivates Casey to get his ass in gear
Force the Sabres to play Cozens on the wing
But we all know the days of only having 2 scoring lines are over. Having 3 lines that can produce is where it's at.

I don't mind the opinions
Hell I wanted Caulfield
But the overreaction is what annoys me. This is more directed at Gerbe and he knows it!
