I mean I guess but isn't it all about the amount of lottery tickets you have this late in the draft? - Stripes77

Matthews only for a tiny bit, but Tavares for 94.8% of the time.
Edit: Skinner only played with Jack 66.1% and set a career high in goals. - Wetbandit1
If you think money Mitch is a product of John Tavares your going to be shocked when he gets 11m to 12m offers |

No, I'm not, that's the whole point. The reason he's getting those offers is because of Tavares. The actual Pat Kane produces with nobodies. Anisimov, Caggiula and Toews were his most common linemates last year. |

Do you think “we could of had Hughes over cozens if Botts didn’t rush the rebuild and trade for skinner”
Will be the new “we could of had laine over nylander if GMTM didn’t trade for O’Reilly and rush the rebuild”
If cozens doesn’t turn out and botts gets fired? We would of def finished behind NJ this year without skins and been in spot NJ was. Hindsight I guess...
I’ll give it two years - Fattony1187
Great point...
it’ll be interesting to see what some on here thinks |

I’m sorry I disagree Tavares didn’t make Marner he was already a superstar he was playing with Patrick Marleau and Tyler Bozak and still produced almost 70 pts in 82 games .

Yes, and then got 25 more playing 95% of the time with an actual superstar. That's an unheard of number.
McDavid played with everyone on the Oilers. Draisaitl like 50% of the time, RNH like 20% of the time and that's it. Eichel with Skinner 66% of the time. It just doesn't happen where stars play together that much. |

Did we trade our 6th round pick for a future 7th round pick yet? Asking for a friend. |

Not having next years 3rd might make it tricky
I have to brush up on the formulas for offer sheets
They never happen so I stopped paying attention - Stripes77

Not having a 3rd eliminates 4 of the 7 ranges, including every from 4.2- 10.5

I don't care what you want in all honesty, I want better players on this team and that's all that should matter to any of us right now.
And I am so sick of the excuses. Stop drinking the Pegoolaid.
This organization is a disaster.
Look at our trades vs. some of the trades for star players form other teams... Nashville knew it was going to get less for that salary but they still off-loaded 9m. We really didn't need to worry about a 9m player for 3-years. It's the perfect window for our d-corps to have an experienced, veteran LEADER on the back-end and IDGAF how much they like Blow-Go, it ain't him or Scumdella.
We have very little to show for the returns on every trade Bott's has made.
If we miss the playoffs, he will be fired and this organization will be an even bigger joke. |
