And Johnson > than frattin
Like seriously max, he had more points last season than frattin had in his whole career. |

I was impressed with him in the Calder Cup Playoffs, but I don't think they want to start the clock on his ELC this early. Could see them call Sandin up in January (after the halfway mark), as they did with Dermott a couple years ago. |

Leafs are not the type of team to bring up Sandin that early imo. |

Sandin will 100% be there..
Liljegren has to make the team this year or else it’s time to start labeling him a bust. |

A guy with a career best 22 points who's older than Nylander? With Matthews all year NYlander easily blows past his best 61 points |

No to Phaneuf, Vanek, Girardi...
It'll be something like this to start the season:
Johnsson-Matthews-Nylander
Mikheyev-Tavares-Marner
Moore-Kerfoot-Kapanen
Petan-Spezza-Shore
Agostino
Muzzin-Barrie
Rielly-Ceci
Bottom pairing will probably be a revolving door of:
Marincin, Holl, Borgman, Kivihalme, Gravel, Harpur |

I doubt that ELC will be the critical factor. If he can help and if they are sure that bringing him up doesn’t hurt his development, he’ll play. Remember window is almost shut and Leafs will never have another chance to win. (Did I do that right?) |

Sandin or Lilybust makes an appearance after the trade deadline I think, but I don't think either is ready yet. Lilybust is not 21 until April, bud. Give him a break. |

People are delusional with NYlander. All the doubters will eat their words. He's as talented as he is handsome. |

A mid first rounder shouldn’t need 3 seasons in the minors. If he doesn’t make the jump this season, it was a bad pick.
I don’t like admitting it either, but it’s do or die for Timoth... |

I would say Leafs hold guys back right now more than any organization. Is someone better for debuting faster? |

But why though? He's not costing us anything down there developing. |

They let them marinate more than other teams, because it’s an positive environment playing for the Marlies.
If you mean, “do I think someone is more ready than Timoth,” then I honestly don’t know, the coaching staff would have a better bead on that than any of us. But it appears that Sandin and Borgman are ahead of him.. and possibly Harpur.. Kivihelme, who knows.. |

It would be a bad pick because you make picks to hopefully play on your NHL roster, not galavant around the AHL.
At some point he has to take that step. 2 years is plenty of time to develop. |
