well.. hopefully the weather will be better than expected still.
for oslo not such an issue since lots of things to do in the city.
however for the week after while on a short roadtrip through norway, i really hope we will be avoiding rain.. |

A mid first rounder shouldn’t need 3 seasons in the minors. If he doesn’t make the jump this season, it was a bad pick.
I don’t like admitting it either, but it’s do or die for Timoth... - Arctic_AARDVARK
That's a bit harsh.
Look at Kadri. Took him a little longer but he became a good player in the end.
I'm not the biggest fan of mono kid but you can't deny he has skills offensively. |

I have a feeling we will see him at some point in the season.
but its pretty common for a mid 1st to take 3 years to make the NHL
Jake Gardiner was picked at 17 also, his first season he was 21
Also picked at the same spot is Cal Foote..so the same must apply to him |

Yeah, I know we are getting used to seeing great 18 to 20 year old make it to the NHL.
But other players still take some times and will end up being just as good.
Poehling was drafted the same year as Liljegren and will start pro (AHL or NHL) this year. You don't hear anyone claiming it's "now or never" for him. |

I think he's the third best right-handed defenseman in the organization. If he shows well at camp, I would think he has a legitimate shot - unless someone has said differently.
Barrie
Ceci
Liljegren
Holl
Hollowell
Duszak
Lindgren
The order is merely my take on the players based on their utilization in the organization and their age. For instance, I think Hollowell could be a legitimate NHL'er, whereas I think Holl has hit ceiling as a bench or bus rider, but Holl is on the NHL roster today. Duszak will have to prove himself on the Marlies, but he was the third leading defenseman in scoring in the NCAA with Makar and Fox (albeit Duszak is a year older), so there's some hope there. |

Poehling peaked in the last game of the year last year.
It was a great run for that kid. Great run. |

Once Marner is signed, there will be $40m on the CAP committed to 4 forwards (Matthews, Tavares, Marner and Nylander).
I think Dubas has it under control for this season but also knows it is highly problematic to have a salary structure that is so top heavy on the CAP. And, more provoking, so thin and vulnerable after the top six.
My guess is the Leafs are fine until Christmas. But the league gets a lot tougher after Christmas and especially in the playoffs where depth and winning become synonymous.
Dubas knows he is going to have to deal one of the big four salaries sometime in the next 12 months. It is probably wise for him to go slow and pick his spot. - spatso

Are you implying his goal per game average will drop from 3(4) to 2?

The Senators fans have been spewing some of the most vile, hateful, and disgusting things ever said by a fan in Hockeybuzz or Reddit, & yet they get a free pass and a big embrace from the Eklund. Horrible anti-Leaf, anti-Habs, pro-instigator rule & public.... |

.....shouting of the F...word, among many other terrible things, and the petrified Canucks fans run for the hills. Why isn’t Dozzer voting to rebuke the filthy and hate laced things they have said? Because they are the Sens fans, and Ek's mods are afraid to take them on. Sad! |

So sad to see the Sens fans sticking up for people who speak so badly of our team and who, in addition, hate the Habs with a true and unbridled passion. Whenever confronted, they call their adversaries, including Steven Seagull, “PARADE PLANNER.” Their disgusting language.... |

If at the end of that game, he had thrown his stick and gloves on the ice and skated off screaming, "PEACE OUT, female dogES", and never played another game of hockey, he could have gone down as one of the greatest legends of all time.
That is an opportunity lost! |

So interesting to see “Progressive” Sens fans, who originally came from teams whose teams are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning team at all), now loudly...... |
