Hey Pach I must have missed it, or my reading comprehension is poor but what did Botteril say about Eichel managing the 82 game schedule? |

I agree but he does have a good poker face. This was about the time we pulled Skinner out of nowhere. I still think Gardnier not signed and some of the very big RFA contracts still not settled is killing his ability to move Risto - lulags
I actually looked up the date of that trade the other day. It was August 2nd.
I also think another move is coming, but it will be about the roster, and have nothing to do with getting under the cap. |

Just wait til the preseason starts and a couple defensemen go down with injuries. Then the phone will start ringing. |

These are the lines I would like to see
Skinner Eichel Vesey
Johansson Mitts Reinhart
Olofsson Rodrigues Sheary
Girgs Larsson Okposo
I could see Sheary being traded before the season starts in which case I would have Thompson either on the 3rd line or move up KO and put Tage on the 4th. Would prefer having someone like Tage on a line with smaller guys like Olofsson and Rodrigues. |

Fitz - I'm interested... are you a vegetarian? Vegan? Because if you aren't and you enjoy eating meat, I would argue that your willingness to consume animals without personally confronting that animals death is a far more destructive force on your own mind, soul, and society as a whole, than the hunting and taking of wild animals is.
There is a problem with the ability to disassociate one's self from the cause and effects of eating meat. I feel like if an adult is going to eat meat, they should be able to confront the death of that animal.
I fish and eat my catch frequently. I have never enjoyed killing the fish. I am thankful for that fish's life and for that fish's death so that it can provide food for me and my family, but I have never actually enjoyed the killing of the fish. - Angler

yeah...he basically said that in the early part of the season Jack was rolling with the team, "playing like a Hart candidate," according to Botts...
"but it's a situation now where Jack, like the team, needs to sustain that over 82 games"

It may not be a coincidence that Gardiner is still out there and Risto's not traded. Might go hand in hand? |

I can get behind those lines
If Olofsson gets PP time I would assume as well just because of his shot he will pot 20 this year |

Your title says it all. It certainly seems like he has something up his sleeve, and he's very good at giving us nothing (even in an extended interview). - Lunaion
Yes, definitely. The worse thing he could say would be "We will be looking to make a trade to become cap compliant." This would ensure that teams would look to take advantage of him. Being all laissez-faire about the situation still allows him to negotiate without seeming desperate. I feel he swings a deal that will have everyone saying "How the hell did he pull that off?". |
