This is hilarious. The first time I heard this mentioned on 650, they were asking a 19 year NHL vet if he ever went to a players wedding and saw the coach there. He said not once in 19 seasons.

They just dont have that kind of relationship with young players. It's summer and the coach and players are in different worlds.

Coaches occasionally go to a vets wedding. There is a bond at that point I'm assuming.
