If he can get around 20 goals, and 25 assists from the 3rd line, I'll be very happy.

I'd guess he would get PP2 time, so maybe he can get closer to 50 points.

olofsson needs a better set up man that Erod. it would be nice if he could play with Sam and mitts.

if he gets 40-50 points on the 3rd line then we are a playoff team. but i HIGHLY doubt that happens

olofsson needs a better set up man that Erod. it would be nice if he could play with Sam and mitts.

Erod will get him the puck. I will dig into my advanced stat bag and pull out the fact that he had the 2nd most primary shot assists of any sabres forward last year.

if he gets 40-50 points on the 3rd line then we are a playoff team. but i HIGHLY doubt that happens

I would guess the bulk of his points would have to come from either a more even distribution of minutes, or the power play for it to happen.

I read an article the used a standardized rankings for prospects to predict NHL success. Take it with a grain of salt, but Olofsson's projected point totals were a lot lower than we are hoping for.

I thing if he gets 25-30 points that's a lot more reasonable than 40-50.

i can get on board with 25-30.. and depending on how many are goals thats not bad at all for a Rook

It's also possible this pair could be the 2nd PK unit. If I recall correctly, they started using olo there in Roch. That has some real shorty potential

i wonder if he even cracks PP1. if he is on PP2 that will be a rag tag crew that will get about 1 min average ice time per game
