Good call on Konecny. I don't expect him to light it up but he has potential to crack the 60 pt range |

Certainly not telling you what hunches to have or not have, but Beauvillier or Brassard are probably safer "sleepers" coming off the Isles roster. Much more likely to be productive than MDC.
If Dal Colle does make it over Ho Sang then I think he'll probably be labeled for the third line with Brassard and Komarov and Beauvillier will play with Nelson and Bailey. |

Usually a smart move to avoid any players on average - at best - offensive teams.
So basically any players on Montreal, Buffalo, Detroit, Ottawa, Islanders, Rangers, Columbus and Carolina to some extent. And I'll probably stay away from Devils players as well. |

You're going to avoid over half the eastern conference?
You've got a super shallow draft (or only like 4 teams). |

every team scores goals and has a first line and first power play. so someone is scoring! sometimes grabbing the 3rd best player on a team in the dying rounds turns a bigger ratio of points for where they are picked.
for example: someone scoops benn in the 2nd round and he gets 68 points and someone grab Reinhart in the 14th round of a draft and he gets 62 points. It could happen. |

I'm not huge on either Beauvi or Brassard TBH |

More so meant you avoid "depth" players on these teams. Their top lines are 100% in play, but if I'm picking guys in later rounds that could potentially best their draft position, I would avoid these teams. |

Should've clarified that my point is based on players not on the teams first lines. Obviously these players are in play.
The odds of a later round player on the teams I mentioned besting their draft position isn't as great because of the teams limited offensive potential. But if you can get a top line player on one of those teams in the latter rounds of your draft, you take them.
The 5/6th option on a top flight offensive team is much more valuable than the 3/4th options on middle to bottom flight offensive team. |
