The year they had the best offense and defense(yards) was 2010. Yeah, Rivers only played under Schottenheimer for a year, but they were 14-2 and lost in the second round to the Pats. IIRC Rivers had a scope on his knee the week leading up to the game, but he ended up playing anyway.

Edit: that was the next year in the AFC Championship, against the Pats.

The Raiders are 3-2, they also had a very impressive win against the best defence in the NFL today.

They had the best defence in the league last year. Week 1 they held Rodgers and the packers to 10 points. Week 2 they come in to Mile High where the Broncos have won 8 straight openers and hold us to 14 points (we have a middle of the pack offence), they held the Redskins to 15 points on the road the week after and didn't give up any points until they were up 28-0. Week 4 they hold the Vikings to 6 points and hold Dalvin Cook to 35 yards rushing and he was leading the NFL in rushing yards going into that game.

Today's game against the raiders is the first game they have given up more then 15 points this season.

The Pats easily have the best defense. They're allowing 6.8 points per game, Bears at 13.8, Bills at 14. Plus they're 1st in yards allowed, 36.6 less per game than the 2nd place Bills, 1st against the pass and 4th against the run. They've allowed 2 TDs all year. That's silly.

saw the joker after watching the walking dead last night

very good, not great

Phoenix did an outstanding job but the movie is very slow

The last 45 minutes picked up but first hour or so was tortoise slow.

Overall if the character was just some random crazy guy who could no longer get pills w/o makeup, it would be just as good of a movie

still much better then DC has put out in forever

it's a poor man's taxi driver like a few critics said, very good but I think a movie like the highway men was just as good if not better

I'm not saying you are wrong, but to be fair, the Pats have faced offenses that don't scare anyone (Redskins, Dolphins, Steelers, Jets). The Bears have been more tested. Both are great though.

Bears and Bills are in similar spots. Great defenses with offenses that cant move the ball. Lets be honest we should have lost that game. IF you cant move the ball or score then it doesn't matter how good your D is.

The week they played the Steelers, they had to face Roethlisberger. It's not like they faced the Steelers that were playing their third string QB like ended up happening yesterday.

Yes, the Bears have faced some tougher opponents (Packers, Vikings), but they also played the Redskins, so if it doesn't count for NE, it doesn't count for them either. Jury is still a bit out for me on whether or not Oakland is a real threat.
