They still dont have such a bounty of offensive riches that they can give partial effort and win. Plus it seems like the system relies on there being no passengers. Itll be hard to keep up the intensity for an entire season, but that's what they'll need to do

and of those 90 points 12 of them are from field goals. So 11 touchdowns though 5 games is a good offense?

Failing to covert is where they are struggling.

The week they played the Steelers, they had to face Roethlisberger. It's not like they faced the Steelers that were playing their third string QB like ended up happening yesterday.

Yes, the Bears have faced some tougher opponents (Packers, Vikings), but they also played the Redskins, so if it doesn't count for NE, it doesn't count for them either. Jury is still a bit out for me on whether or not Oakland is a real threat.

I don't think the Steelers offense would be a good offense with Roethlisberger in this year. But that's just a hunch. Still a lot of football left to see who is the better defense.

Seems like they get to their opponents 45 yard line easily and often, then it goes bad (sacks, turnovers, penalties, poor play calling, poor execution, something stupid, bad reffing, dropped passes).

I expect the offense to be much closer to 24 points a game then 14 points a game


and our D has yet to get their buckets of turnovers

the offense is much improved from last season and will get better

I would rather have an offense getting 18 points per game but moving the ball on a regular basis then have a defense that allows 28 points per game
