I agree with you. The crowd was probably wanting him to do it and cheering him on. I'm sure a majority of the crowd was hammered too. Common sense goes out the window when alcohol gets involved.

If the guy was seriously hurt (no idea if so or not), the first thing you would do is call 911, who would likely tell you not to touch him until paramedics arrive.

They both were. I think after so many bad games it just caught up with them. The best thing about what I've seen so far this year is that the ice is no longer tilted in our direction.
