Hains: Game 10: Canadiens vs Sharks AKA In Troubled Waters
If you go swimming with the Sharks, your effort better be constant otherwise, you'll be an easy prey, which the Canadiens unfortunately were tonight. - Karine Hains
Not a very impressive team so far this year, I fear a very long season. And as they start to fall back, questions about who should be moved for picks / prospects will be interesting. |

Also, someone should give Markov a call, sadly that might be an improvement. |

Nothing sad about Markov, (frank)er was bright, but that's past. They watched way too often tonight |

no no no. keep doing the same thing and expect different results. wait 3-4 years for the kids to be good enough.
unless Price and Weber are traded for picks and prospects, but even then it will take 3-4 years to be competitive. |

Bergevin talked about a retool one year ago.
Not sure why anybody would be surprised or anything.
They traded a guy like shaw for picks. I think they are ok with the team missing the playoffs this year. |

Wright 9 in 12 as a 15 years old.
2020:
Byfield 27 in 13. OHL
Tanbak 6 in 11. OHL
Raymond 3 in 12. SHL
Holtz 6 in 11. SHL
I guess Lafreniere's got some competition.

Well I'd see Colorado making a push this year and they have cap space as well. A Weber for Byram type trade could probably be manufactured if Sakic wants to go for it. Its all about expectations too. Is this habs team a contender or even a playoff team? All signs point to no so there is nothing wrong with entertaining the idea of moving out the old for prospects/picks and yes that includes Price. |

Going to be hard to trade Price to a contender who has the space. Weber I can see. |
