Well, the puck is black and the ice is white, so....

Can’t forget the blue line. Technically, black white and blue.

If it was clear as day they wouldn’t need to zoom in and go frame by frame to catch the one frame that shows his skate enter the zone a millionth of a second before the puck. It took them several minutes to review. Not really black and white at all.

this is exactly what we would figuratively refer to as black and white. like exactly.

Excellent take here. I agree completely. Only one thing - it's "offside". There's no "s" at the end. It's a pet peeve of mine, sorry.
- hscesq

really? you agree with "reviewed at full speed"?

why 30 seconds?

why not 10 seconds? 60 seconds? 31 seconds? 1042 seconds?

- Coburns_Nose

I feel if you can’t tell in 30 seconds, it’s way too close to make a difference on the play. Why the attitude?

The puck was in his skates, he did not have control and was offside.

Get ready.. Bruins and Habs will meet in the playoffs, Bruins will be big favorites, Habs will win the series.

- itsallfalse

Habs barely won on full rest with the B's going toe to toe with the Pens the night before, not too worried.

He doesnt reach back at all. The puck is passed right to the back of the skate. He has no idea where it is and stops and looks down. There was no reaching back or kicking the puck up, it simply just hit his skate nothing more
- xShoot4WarAmpsx

Did you watch the video by Peter Adrianopolous or just look at the picture before that. If you watch the video you can see Coyle look over, move his skate back to catch and kick the puck up. He had control.

I like what the NFL has done with Pass Interference challenges

It has to be "egregious" to change the on field call. "Close" or "Some Interference" doesn't get it done

I want a 6 inch -1 foot minimum for a missed call to be overturned. That'll be rid of these millimetre challenges

Its letting the refs off the hook for not doing their jobs, now they dont need to make an offside call cause it will go to review. Maybe give the bench 20-30 seconds to decide if they want to have it reviewed while play is still going on, then at a break they can check. If play breaks other way, no worries.
