I think its a 0% chance unless they give him an 8 year deal way above the market rate. I expect that he will see 9.5 x 8 ; I suspect that he will want 11 x 8 to stay in NJ.
That is my two cents, take it or leave it |

He'll be playing in Vancouver next year when he signs as a UFA, He'll look good on Pettersson's LW....just to come back and haunt the Coilers. |

My source(me) tell me that there is a 50% chance he stays in NJ.
There is also 50% chance he leaves.
My source also states theres a 100% chance he signs with an NHL team and each team has a 0.03% chance at landing him. |

Hall signs in Cowtown on a team friendly deal, just to spite the Oilers. |

But he wants to play for a contender?

Hall will be a Ranger with Pietrangelo and McDavid. |

Even as a Devil's fan I wouldn't stay a part of this poop show. The team added a lot of talent and they aren't close to playing like a contender. A big part of the mess is likely the coaching staff but whatever.
I think it's time for Shero to get a good trade done and make a move. |

Trade him to Calgary now for Lucic and like 3 firsts. Win win, both teams would be happy. |

As a Devils fan, I think either scenario is a good one for the Devils.
Keep him and continue to build the team up around him Nico and Hughes.
If not, Dish him to the highest bidder and take some pressure off of the panic button for a bit. Having him and Subban is forcing the Devils to act like they're further along in their rebuild than they are.
Once Nico and Jack are BOTH in and/or beginning their primes, let's say 2-3 yrs from now, thats the window the Devils need to focus on. That time period also begins the primes of Ty Smith, Blackwood, Bratt, Zacha, among others while also including the actual primes of a Severson, Butcher, Gusev, among others. That's the window I want to see the Devils ramp it up in. Would I be happier earlier, of course, but everything seems rushed since the Subban trade.
It's obviously not easy to replace a Hall, or even bring another one in, but if he wants a cup contender in the next year or 2, he should likely look elsewhere. |

Hall goes to the Blues as a rental. With Tarasenko out, they have the cap space. Tarasenko comes back at the start of the playoffs where there is no cap. Blues swing for a repeat. |

Hall is overated. Selfish player. He was a major reason the locker room was so divided in Edmonton. |

Fuqqin whiny Hab fans. On the season 50 PP....51 times SH. Yup, really being picked on. For crying out loud....

I don't give a (frank) about the season total, show me another game where the powerplay discrepancy is 6. You're a squirrely Queefs fan of course you are going to stand up for horrendous officiating when it caters to you every night
Habs have solace knowing they can still grab points against teams being anchored by the league. This is a damn good (frank)ing hockey team |
