I'm sad that this is the incident that calls him to account, it seems like a reactionary response ,, I believe he was and is a passionate Canadian who tried to instill the pride he felt to others.

Public opinion has definitely gotten out of hand. It's been growing for years as people see more and more consequences as a result of social media attacks. What's most messed up about it is how many have realized they have the power to bring others down and relish in doing so.

I think just about anyone would agree with and disagree with several socia media take downs of public figures, but the fact that it can happen overnight with all your average joes playing judge jury and executioner is scary.
