Todd, get it straight. Hall doesn't have bad luck. He isn't scoring bc he is disinterested, bad for the team, only thinking about his next contract and should be traded. Duh - bigjersey3
I want us to trade Hall as well but there is no need to be disrespectful to Todd, he is entitled to his opinion. |

So while typing this to ask if the sarcasm laced in my comment wasn't clearly visible....I wonder if I'm missing the sarcasm you may have laced in yours....hmmm |

If they trade Hall, please add Severson to the package and get a couple of good D prospects along with whatever Hall will bring.... |

Goose played an amazing game, and therefor deserves to be a healthy scratch next game for Hayden or Rooney. |

Maybe I was wrong to judge Hynes for sitting Gusev with Elias. The improvement has been very noticable since then. Good for him. |

The severson haters have been silent for a few seasons so it's about time they come back to explain that he is soft or something. |

It's obvious with Gusev that he isn't a good skater so for him he needs to have really good positioning. It's taken some time but you can tell that he is getting a lot more comfortable. The offensive talent is through the roof so it's good to see the other aspects of his game coming around. |

Hall's game last night was very reminiscent of when Kovalchuk was a Devil. IMO, Hall played awful last night. Missed opportunity after missed opportunity. It is great that his elite level skating kept giving him golden opportunities, but if you don't even bury one, what is the point.
His inability to score aside, the bigger issues were the non-stop turnovers and blind passes directly to a Habs player.
With that being said, he still had two points, and assisted on the game winner. It was just like when Kovalchuk spent the entire game turning the puck over, yet still managed to find the scoring sheet on a consistent basis.
I think this guy is checked out. Move him now. |

This is the fourth site I’ve seen call the no goal “controversial.” What’s controversial? Puck is on the line and then the Canadien pretty clearly nudges it in with his hip/thigh.
In a game full of awful reffing, that was one of the few that they got right. |

That was one ugly game. But nice to but take it the shorts for a change. |

we keep taking about Hall being unlucky. Maybe.. he just doesn't have a world-beater of a shot? |

I've been saying this with my buddies that I wanted Hall placed where Hughes is on the Power Play, Palms where Hall is, I'd like Hughes down low, and Simmonds in front of the net. That gives the devils 2 trigger men in Hall and Hughes. By doing that it will prevent the opposing team from locking down one side of the power play. So many teams showed so little respect to our power play. At the end of the 3rd and overtime, Hall was on the right hand side and 2 goals get scored...hmmm.
For the 2nd PP I'd want Gusev in Palms' spot, Bratt is Halls, Nico is Hughes, Wood in Simmonds.
The D person would rotate between Suban, Severson, and Butcher. Butcher and Severson both have a shot that's easier to deflect.
Sign me up Shero. I'll be the Power Play coach |

Probably a little overrated and going to be expensive, but still a major upgrade. |

Babcock coached a lot of garbage Detroit teams into the playoffs and screwed them out of good picks, just like the end of the old Devils. He's a real systems coach, and I guess Toronto didn't buy in. |
