Every AHL team is like that. Every AHL team is made up of players not good enough and their prospects.

Keep an eye on Lind Rafferty DiPietro Tier one prospects . OJ Zack Goldy Gadj . Tier two .

Look forward to seeing him on the roster, later in the new year, Brisebois next season.

He reminds me a bit of Tanev, steady, smart and nothing flashy.

Hopefully they play Zacmac over Loudini or Schaller tonight.
Let's give these callups some playing time, at least 10 minutes and see what they have.

I liked how EP came to help JTM against the boards the other night.

I liked that one in OT when he shrugged off the checker with a body shake and created the 2 on 1 and had a good chance.

$4 million a year for Kassian?

Jim Matheson: A four-year, $4 million per season deal for Edmonton Oilers pending UFA Zack Kassion could be a good number. Tom Wilson signed a long-term deal at $5.16 million per. Kassian is older at 28-years old but his even-strength goals and points show that he is a good five-on-five player.

Plenty of defensemen available

TSN: Bob McKenzie said that it’s a good time to be looking for a defenseman as there seems to be a number of them available. The teams that have defensemen available are looking for forward help.

“Well, you know a lot of GMs say it’s a great time if you’re looking for a defenceman. Because there are a lot of teams who are ready to shed defencemen and looking for scoring help. The Buffalo Sabres, for example. Colin Miller, Zach Bogosian, Marco Scandella are three names, amongst others, that have been out there for quite some time for the Sabres. For the Carolina Hurricanes, Jake Gardiner, Trevor van Riemsdyk, Joel Edmundson, take your pick. And more perhaps. Those teams are looking for forward help. They’re peddling out those names on defence. But quite frankly, they haven’t been able to pull anything off with regard to that and right now the market seems to be soft, at least for those defencemen that are available.”

Not a good time to be selling Stecher then.

Lordy will be disappointed.

Minor bump. Never said they were anymore than a WC team. Just wanna see that EDM-CGY PO matchup.

At least they softened the Pens up for us tonight.

Bowser might get 5 on Murray lol

ARZ will come back down to earth as well.

lolo Oil are still a PO team they just have to keep Smith out of the net a bit more. He has cost them a bunch of points over the past few weeks. But their D needs to help him out as well.

That's a bargain compared to paying $3.5MM per to Ferland.

The Ferland signing was another on the long list of desperation moves by Benning trying to speed up the process.

Seems like a smart move by Benning to have $3.5 always available because it’s just sitting there in LTI
