Looking at the stats of this game you'd properly think a few different things but I'd say this is the most complete game I've seen from a team stand point all season.

All 4 lines have done their job. Marky has been good. Forechecking, retrieving dump ins. Bending but not breaking defensively. The PP clicked. Good on the faceoffs. Finishing checks.

JV, Miller and Petey were prominent in all those areas tonight. More must win games ahead to climb back in.

Not sure about that little feller.

They were hemmed in their zone for 2 periods. 14 or 15 shots in 60 min.

Marky was very solid but faced less than 30 shots... Murray was as solid as a soup sandwich.

This isnt how a functioning team should play against a very injured team with a horribad goalie in net.

I can't even complain about TG.

You need your star players to best the other teams stars most nights. Vans did that with the help of the other lines shutting down Pitts stars.

Team effort and if they can do 75% of that nightly. They will be in every game.

Good on you to prove that if you saw the stats instead of the actual game, you wouldn't know what went on.

Pft... you are rewriting what happened. Stats didnt show me the Canucks hemmed in their zone for most of the 2nd and 3rd. Canucks did. You are saying they only need to play 75% of what they did tonight. That is a joke right?

You must write Marwood's strain reviews.

Agree they played for each other and really wanted it. Statement win for Marky too.

They did. Liked Fantenberg crushing Letang when he pinched, JV finishing through near the end to get the puck out. They do that and the other players are going to pull up and not make the plays.

Good game, happy to see them win. Two big victories in a row.

I would really prefer to see a more aggressive defence when short handed, and PP1 be much less static. Otherwise, liked Marky, Jake, EP & Motte. Nice snipe by Boeser. Quieter game from Hughes.

I would agree that the PK has not been stellar lately. PP1 does need work but 2/5 on the night. Not in love with it unless it's producing but when it's producing it's because it's less static. Might be the experience factor that i'm trying not to use this season as an excuse.

I really don't think Hughes is ready for 23 minutes a night unless he's really going. Benn is a good vet and can handle a few more than 14 minutes a night. Fatburger has been super steady and this team needs Edler's minutes but it's Stecher that comes out when Edler's healthy.

It wasn't the pretty win everyone hopes for but it wasn't ugly in the slightest.

I keep wondering was it the peak of this team? I keep referring back to Boeser and Bo. I am not insulting them they are nowhere near the max. What are the limits when everything is hitting on all cylinders?

The PP looks like crap most of the time and I think it is second highest goals in the league.

I thought they weathered the storm in the 2nD, had a good hard working 3rd,

Good shot blocking and physical play tonight. Marky needed the help big time. The shots could have been much higher against being badly outplayed in the final 40.

I'm all for keeping Fantenberg in the line up when Edler returns. Benn was invisible but Fanta is stepping up all across the board.

Quinn with reduced minutes. Good idea I think. Green needs to learn not to over tax Hughes and and Brown needs to sort out all that passing the puck back to him even when the forwards are clearly in position for a shot in close. Nonsense...

Good on Jake.
Time for him to take over Brocks spot on PP 1. He will actually shoot the puck, is a better passer and has a higher IQ than Brock, plus he skates 10x faster.
I hope he learns from Miller, how to protect the puck like he does.
