I hope Murray’s in goal and Boeser gets off the schnide with a hatty |

That’s super cool about podz and gets me even more excited for him. Seems like a quality guy with answers around defence and the work needed to be with EP.
Add him and Lind in 2021 and that’s looking good. |

Thanks Carol.
With Leivo out 2-3 months. I'm not sure why they didn't bring up someone with a top 6 skill set. Soft or not. Goldy and Baertschi are still better than Eriksson. |

Yah that's a head-scratcher at this point. Neither of those 2 are big liabilities. |

Gaudette before Roussel 18GP:
50.5 xGF% / 46.7 CF% / 32.9 SA/60
Gaudette w/ Roussel in 7GP:
39.0 xGF% / 40.4 CF% / 46.0 SA/60
This might be a reason to break them up.

Vasily Podkolzin with 3 assists in today’s WJHC tune up game against Kazakhstan.
The line of Podkolzin, Marchenko and Morozov will be ferocious at the main event. |

I had seen that when he posted it . I like what Gauds Jake and Rous bring. I hope they don't get broken up.

The holiday roster freeze kicked in just a couple of hours after the game ended on Thursday. Though Green was not optimistic after Thursday's game, they probably didn't get a chance to get a full diagnosis and had to make a recall quickly. Tough timing. |

I think Roussel brings what he brings to every line and i'd rather see him play with players that have a bit more offence.
If anything i'd prefer Eriksson being more defensively responsible than Roussel playing with the two of the least experienced players on the team. |

LE wouldn't be able to keep up on a line that scores off of the rush. LE should only be playing on lines that like to cycle the puck

McCann is five years younger and can play center. I’m just whining for the sake of whining. It’s bad when you trade a kid and five years later you’re at the exact same place you started but you wasted all that time in between. |

I know and I agree but the kid was a colossal d1ck when they trade him. |

I didn't realize the roster freeze had kicked in. I'm sure it probably had to do with Baertschi clearing waivers and Goldy when he was called up only getting a single game.
It feels as if TG needs to get out of his own way and get the most of the players in what they are good at, as long as they are horribly harming the team every game.
Like Anthony Duclair in Ottawa.

Benning would reverse the trade if he could, but what's done is done.
McCann would be a useful player to have in this lineup for sure, especially since Sutter's career has been derailed by injuries. |
|
|
|
Then how come Zack was able to get called up? - VANTEL
I assume the recall was submitted Thursday night. Don't imagine there was time to break down the lineup implications.

Sometimes I go back and look at deals as if they were never made and see if we’d have a better lineup. I shouldn’t do that |

Gaudette and Virtanen shoot first players, you want the slow guy so he will arrive when the garbage is there. |
