I just hope that JB is smart in the end, unless the team is firmly in a playoff spot that he sells at the TDL expiring contracts. Gather multiply picks and prospects for each. Quantity for me now trumps quality. Got to find the next complimentary players and multiple ones at that to recycle if contracts become too much.

Time for him to take over Brocks spot on PP 1. He will actually shoot the puck, is a better passer and has a higher IQ than Brock, plus he skates 10x faster.
I hope he learns from Miller, how to protect the puck like he does.

There really isn't much to sell. Pick two players that have about a 50 % chance of being traded. Then figure the value and the return.

Unless you are trading Brock the usual suspects are Tanev and Sutter. Out of the two of them I think teams would only have interest in Tanev.

But agree I advocated for Bo as Captain and as it turns out there could have been other choices.

Petey is a special player to be sure. Maybe Bo provides the leadership qualities off the ice that Green wants? hard to say but the bottom line is that even though they were outplayed for 2 periods they played for each other to close out a regulation win. A character building game.

You see this is the kind of thing we need. Great banter between coaches and players and respect. This is what brings clubs together. All the winning clubs I have been on there has always been a great level of fun, sarcasm and banter. You need that in the room. Hopefully no one is offended...lol

Fantenburg looks ready to step in full time.

I like Edler and Tanev for what they have brought but really the next big step for this club will probably be without them. Still would love to see some good return for Tanev while he's healthy for the next while lol

Well TBH the amount of trade activity by Benning at the TDL has been really minimal during his stay so I don't have much hope in a blockbuster.

He wants to get his first round pick back but that would have to be Bo or Brock traded . Bo was just made captain so I don't see that happening.
