I am impressed that Canucks are top 10 in goals and Comets are top of the league also in goals (more games played though).
I like the D and I like the goal tending. I think Mike D will steal Demko's job soon though.
Minivan threw out a name last week , Josh Anderson and even though he is having a bad year , I think Canucks can use a player like him to replace Ferland - VANTEL
So glad I picked Pettersson and Miller in the hockey pool
The Comets success doesn’t excite me, sorry to be a Debbie downer there, much of their success is from guys who can’t make it in the NHL. They’re led by Boucher, Baertschi, Goldobin & Camper, four veteran forwards who’ll never be NHL regulars.
Lind, Rafferty and DiPietro are having decent years though. Brisebois too. |

Gadjovich is also having a strong year.
Rafferty is 8th in scoring Lind is 25 th in the league. I don't get excited by the ex NHLers either but you can see a lot of good things mainly with Rafferty Lind Mike D and Briesbois in that order. I didn't even put OJ on the list. |

I thought Gadjovich would be a better player, I liked that pick, but I’m a terrible drafter |

Rafferty is older than goldy. Until he does anything in the NHL I have low expectations. Lind I’ve been high on since the start. He will be a beast in the AHL next year, and then part way make the NHL. Might go up and down. But when he makes it and has 2-3 years he will be a great nhl guy for top 9 by age 23-24. I still think he’ll be top 6.
His growth in Kelowna every year was insane. Happening now in the A. He’s got the attitude to do the same in the N. |

Even the greatest drafters get it wrong once in a while. (that was my pick in that spot) and don't worry, there is still time for him.
It's not as if anyone picked below him are destroying the NHL already.
You must be in the serious christmas spirit to come here and argue with everyone daily. |

Canucks have some good MoJo coming their way. They have a top 8 AHL club and some very good prospects .
Stay away from free agency and keep developing these Kids . There are about 3 or 4 knocking at the door.
I still think we will make the playoffs. The worst of the schedule is in the back mirror now. - VANTEL
They aren’t really knocking on the door yet, let them marinate. I agree next year for sure but for this season leave them down imo. Let Utica dominate. It’s clear JB prioritze scoring from the back end, showing in utica this year and will continue with rathbone. |

He’s had cement in his skates from day one, no one wanted to embrace it. |

I think Jasek has a lot of tools. A 4th liner player but that's fine. |

Three of the four that I have named have already have played NHL games. So I will leave my comment as I first posted "Knocking at the door" |

I commented on facebook on the world junior roster about how I didn't think Canada was going to medal again this year.
Some guy from Kelowna telling me i'm not a Canadian because i'm not cheering for them.

I haven't watched anything but highlights this year. It seems as if he plays the game right, he just doesn't show up on the scoresheet much.
3rd in plus minus on the team.
A bit of a different role this year for him maybe? |

He is a very responsible player in both ends. He has some skill and moves . He will pop in occasionally on the score sheet. Very good at finding the open man and a good play maker . Does everything well nothing great. |

Petey is a mix of Hank & Danny, both a passer and a shooter, but he’s still a soft as (frank) Swede like they were as far as toughness. - Pacificgem
Vantel doesnt want a soft Captain but wants Petey as the Captain.
He also said he hates our soft captains past... Hank and Linden. So Bo, Hank and Linden soft... Petey not soft.
Petey only needs the palm of someones hand on his back to fall down. He also falls down shooting the puck most times and pleads for a penalty.
He's softer than the last 3 Captains past and present....
I like Petey but I'm not living on fantasy Island. The kid is weak but oozes skill. Great attitude and has leadership quality but the fanboy narratives on him being tougher than the last 3 captains is (frank)ing comical. |

Sounds like a tweener player then. Gaunce but with a bit more skill. |

How do you know what I want? Seriously? Are you a mind reader?
I want a captain that if a player on his team gets hit that he comes to his defense like Petey did the other night when JTM got hit.
I want my captain to initiate like Petey has done hitting a few other opponents this year.
I want my leader to take the team on his back when they are slumping and pick them up like Petey is doing now.

you’re so talented. Between that and fly tying, what else are you the best at?
When I say talented, I mean full of poop. - bloatedmosquito
What the (frank) are you talking about?
When did I say best at those things? What makes you think I'm not good at those things? You know nothing about it so you make poop up instead.
You just showed a example of someone being full of poop but I guess you are excused because you can't help yourself.. |
