He was offered up for free twice already, I really don't think this guy has any value...like zero.

Perhaps. Not sure there is a major win on that vs just buying out his last year for $1.6M in the summer, but it would depend on the package coming back. He isn’t valued at the NHL level (at his current contract $) and is way overpaid for the AHL as a depth call-up. Europe seems the most likely destination.

There was no hysteria on either side. Anyone that argues with Vantel is aware of how he irritates with his projections and reverses what you say until he gets an earful. If you look back I was actually the one posting details and comparisons about players to make a point. If I was discussing those details with Nucker, he would have counter argued in the same manner and things would go smoother.
