Plus you're always going to have people trying to justify a bad/good draft decision based on WJ efforts. Imagine if we had taken Lias Anderson over Petey - after they were drafted the year he threw his medal into the crowd he was a beast in that tourney.

Theres a 2-3 year wait and see period now but to me The Pod and Hoglander picks compliment each other quite well.

As the year ends and season approaches halfway mark, a few thoughts about the Canucks. . .

The goal this year was to take another clear step forward. So far, so good. After 40 games we’re 21-15-4 (last year we were 18-18-4).


These guys are accountable, they fight hard for each other, never give up. I like this quote: “It’s not the team with the best players, it’s the players with the best team.”

Second half of the season is the tough part. Gonna be fun and exciting to find out if we’ve got a playoff team this year. What's your prediction?
