Why’s that? - Feds91Stammer
I think other teams can/will offer more. I’d rather Tatar than all the others. |

Is he even on the block? Historically the Habs are never big sellers. They make big trades here and there ie Weber/Subban but I dont ever recall a full blown fire sale and thats one reason they're pretty much in mediocrity every season. Also, Tatar is signed next year as well for under 5 mill. Thats great value...not that money matters to them anyway. They fill over 21K seats every game.
I'd love to get Tatar....just dont see it and for different reasons than you. |

Pens are not getting Tatar unfortunately. - Rinosaur
Is he legit on the block? Why does MTL want to trade him? |

There are rumors MTL may rip things down aside from Price and Weber. |

Not that I think the'd want both Bjug and Chucky, they absolutely have the space right now. - Rinosaur
Who knows then. They could move Chucky for a pick to someone at the deadline and keep Bjugstad.
Edit: Minnesota that is. |

I read one article in the Athletic, but I don’t remember who and this one show on SiriusXM.
EDIT: The didn’t make it sound like it’s definitely happening, but that they will asses this closer to the deadline. Tatar and Drouin’s name were the main ones mentioned and to a lesser degree Domi, but felt Domi was very unlikely.
I wish I could remember who, but they discussed trade rumors for a bunch of teams. |

There's conflicting reports around Montreal. It doesn't seem like they know what to do yet. They could try to reload around next year or blow it up and move guys like Tatar and Perry who would net a good return. |

Read back, sir. I did. I was simply saying that if Blueger is what it takes they shouldn’t say no. - Rinosaur
That's not exactly what I was asking, but I'll take it as you just have no problem moving Blueger. I would only agree if that was the only move they could make to get a wing. Mostly I value cheap roster players in a hard cap league. |

I don't see them moving Galchenyuk just to move him. If they have another trade to make, I can definitely see them taking a pick for him, but if they don't make any moves and decide to stay put, he will not be traded.
But they are absolutely going to make a move so I would expect a trade. I'm actually surprised that he isn't a Sabre yet and Evan Rodrigues isn't a penguins. I thought that was such an obvious swap. |

OK, OK well you're all seeing stuff about Montreal...and I'm a true believer in where there's smoke there's fire.
So...what would Tatar cost the Pens? |

My guess would be a 1st and a prospect being either a winger with decent size or a d man. |

If that were the case, and you were their GM, which prospect would you want back? |

Wheeler on the Athletic just did a nice breakdown on our prospects. Ranks our group as 28th.
Has them ranked...
1) Addisson
2) Legare
3) Poulin
4) Hallander
5) POJ
6) Puustinen
He ranks them in tiers and says Addisson's PP abilities put him a cut above. The 3 below are middle six possibilities.
If it were me, I'd see what I could get for Addisson and a pick. |

Legare or Poulin. That’s my opinion though. Others might say Montreal would prefer Addison or POJ. |

Haha thats our sweet spot. Every. Single. Year. 28th to 30th/31st...yet some how, some way, we bring up prospects who perform admirably. I believe Sullivan should get a lot of credit for this.
As for that list, I wouldn't lose a wink of sleep over trading any of them.

If Addison is being moved then it needs to be for a younger high quality winger with term and not someone with just a year left. I’d be ok with any of the other prospects for Tatar, but Addison has looked great so far

So we have a blizzard warning for here tomorrow....we already have 150 cm's (approx 59 inches) on the ground and its calling for 50 to 75 cms (approx 19 to 29 inches) plus wind gusts up to 145 kilometers an hour (approx 90 miles an hour). That pretty nuts even for our standards haha.
