They were really fortunate that stuff like the Hayes' hooking, Jake touching the puck to trigger too many men and Raffl passing out of that 2-on-1 didn't end up costing them the game. PK bailed them out and Raffl ended up atoning, but still... this team has so many injuries and the kids are on such a steep learning curve, that the vets can't afford to poop the bed like that.
Still, impressive that they've managed to grind out these 1-goal games against some very good teams. Gutsy.

Happy we aren't facing Gallagher. Guy kills us every game it seems
You can definitely see the growing pains for Myers. He looked like a giraffe sliding across the ice on the Faulk PP goal. He's only half to blame on the Steen goal, but he needs to learn when to be aggressive defensively and when to let the game come to him. He's certainly got the tools but needs to clean up the mental lapses.

So the Sharks started playing individual player goal songs. Gotta say I love this and would love the Flyers to do this! Can't hurt to have some more personality infused into the game/league. Kinda like MLB players with their walk to the plate songs.

Definitely like this idea. Might be tough with trades. Definitely miss the personalities of Roenick, Hartnell and Pronger. Definitely miss the identity of toughness these personalities backed themselves up with.

Agreed with missing those personalities. But this year as a team I feel we definitely have more personality than last year. Hayes seems like a real locker room guy and you always hear him shouting during the post game helmet videos. TK also seems to be adding more personality as he's gotten more comfortable in the league.

Agreed. This year's goal song is lame. I don't understand why they feel the need to change it every few years. Just pick a damn song and stick with it. I liked last year's (not a much as Doop and Light 'em up, though).
This win will mirror the Blues run to Cup last year which started with a win over us in our building...now we win in theirs and win the Cup this year! Believe it!

In the year 1920 it might have been tough to get music for a player just traded, not so tough in 2020 with those there interwebs.
