on PC, i don't have a console, but I imagine I will look into a PS5 when they come out

Ah okay. You mentioned HMDI 2.1 earlier, looks like there will be a ton of quality of life improvements for gamers as it becomes mainstream. Latency in games drives me nuts, especially when I hook my PC to my TV.

The PS5 definitely looks intriguing, if the hardware is as powerful as they say it will be it'll be well worth the money.

thats what i was thinking when i purchased the C9. Getting something that won't be outdated in the next 5 years was important.

For sure. I'm looking at getting a new PC sometime probably this summer and a new TV towards the end of the year, but it's so tough to predict what with have the most longevity.

Costco taking a beating. They do have low and high range stuff. But I agree, stay away from those packaged sound systems.

My biggest issue with video sound are voices. Spoken word can get lost in all the sound manipulation that goes into movies. IMO, you need a channel dedicated to voice to have a great viewing experience.

Video games are trending that way as well. So much sound layers, the important stuff gets lost.

Either way, the home theatre is a worth while investment. Once you’re happy with it, expect never to go out to the movies again.

You need a proper center and good amp with a proper room correction kit and youll never lose the voices The denons are ok again marantz is fine i refer the anthem cause the arc program is absolutely fantastic and their is tons of head room in their top avr so you dont need to get into preamp and seperate power for each channel. Very nice sounding product. And yup youll never want to go to the movies again lol

There is a game tonight right?

So I'm guessing 5-3 Canucks and Pettersson on his ass 5 times.

You got it, you'd think they'd be pissed about what happened is BOS.

Wonder what's up with this? Doctor's still not comfortable when he can play?

Even then, how long will he stay healthy?

there were people on social media saying he brings that "2010 Kesler" mentality about his post game interviews. I personally like what he said about Boston. Its easy for the team to be passive and say "the better team won", or not say anything at all, but for him to stand up and talk with a bit of swagger, IMO, is awesome and what we need.

i really like what he brings, including how he handles himself off the ice. Doesn't take poop from anybody, whether its the other team or the media. We need more of that in our lineup.

Need more of it, I guess Ferland was supposed to be another guy like that, personally I think he's done.

The disparity between Van and TBL at the end of last season was 47 points

The disparity through 2/3 of this season is 6 points.

That's a big time trade

The Anthems' are fantastic products...but expensive. 5-10 years back the marantz's had taken a step over the Denon's but check out the new Denon's...I prefer their sound to the new Marantz' now. But both great products.
