Carol Schram: Canucks suffer shutout amid bad breaks in Boston, will wrap trip vs. Wild After picking up five of six points on the first three games of their current road trip, the Vancouver Canucks hit a roadblock when they were shut out by the Boston Bruins on Tuesday. The trip will wrap up on Thursday in Minnesota — and meanwhile, Rogers Arena plays host to the women's hockey Rivalry Series between Canada and the U.S. on Wednesday night.

Well done Carol.

Wow the Bruins Dirt continues. Same spot where Boychuk broke Raymond's back and no call or suspension. Go figure. Bettman and Campbell are on it lol

It's tough to beat the Bruins and the league at the same time. Saw this story once before.

I thought there was a lot of favorable calls for the home team but that happens everywhere including Vancouver.

Interesting but why would they be sellers? They are in a playoff race also.

The power play needs a shake up.. I’d say take BB and Bo off the top unit for a couple games, put on Gaud and JV/Rousell. Gaud can take over Brock’s spot as he played there in college and actually shoot the puck, as Brock has just been floating at the blue line, and JV/Rous can play the front of the net or chase down rebounds.

PP2 benefits from Brock getting to be the first shooter.

Palmieri won't be cheap and NJ will have a long list of suitors.

I think Ferland is close to being done.

Like to see Leivo re-sign.

Flavors of the day. By all reports, Tryamkin is nothing more than a #7. Rafferty is suspect defensively. Not a defense Id take in the playoffs. Having said that, they need to solidify their defense at the deadline. Alec Martinez?

I have watched Rafferty play every game that he has played this year. This could not be further from the truth. He is very reliable in both ends. OJ may be suspect at times but even his game has improved.

You have Tryamkin at 7 I have him at 6 , not a lot of difference. We will put this one in a not worth arguing about category.

I'll refer to Cull's comments on "play without the puck". I'd defer to him. Rafferty is not ready.

I dont have him at 7, its how hes being reported right now...

Again there is not a lot of separation between 6 and 7. I have heard the stories also on SN650 saying he is a number 7 . It is also being by people that have seen highlight clips.

If it is reported by Daniel Gee or CanucksAbby then those guys watch the games. Guys like Satiar Shah and Andrew Walker probably have not watched him play one game.

You know how things roll. Everything escalates on social media.

I disagree with Culls comments that he needs time but that is stubborn ole me.
