That was incredible. Color me impressed. I picked up this guy in fantasy and he's been picking up where Brian Rust left off. Great to see a kid come in and do so well after spending half the season in the minors and getting some NHL action last season. |

Dang, no word on Kassian's kick in the Oilers blog when it's big news everywhere else. You know it's really bad/serious when nobody wants to talk about it... |

You kinda just answered your own question there. Everyone is already talking about it ad nauseam, so why recycle it?
I'm quite sure we'll receive a blog concerning the result of Kassian's hearing. |

A weak troll attempt but I'll still take it. This blog was to discuss Yamamoto's game. When there is real news to discuss about Kassian I will write about it. Also yes it was bad and he should get at least 6-10 games for it. |

Not really, just no one actually believes its a thing lol Id be more concerned over a 200lb man trying his best to break the spine of a 4' nothin 145lb tweener. A skate to the carbon fiber chest protector ranks much lower than a broken spine in my concern level. |

5-10 games would be my guess. Any thing over 10 is usually handed to send a message to a repeat offender. This is pretty well a one-off incident unless the league considers the times kassian has “lost his cool” enough validation for repeat offender status and send a message.
In my opinion I would say the suspension starts at 5 games. The location of the kick is what increases the suspension due to what could have happened if his foot got the neck. The only thing that has been consistent about Parros has been his inconsistency so anyone betting between 5 and 10 has about the same chance of being right.
I think most people will be pissed if it’s anything under 10 either way. |

Not trolling, but the fact that you went right to that just proves my point in how serious and sensitive an issue this is. There was no shortage of outrage about Tkachuk and Gio postgame in the past but now that it’s Kassian and the show is one the other foot, the most talked about play of last night gets no coverage here. We all know why, just pointing it out. |

I haven’t heard one Oiler fan defend the kick. He’ll be suspended, I’m thinking 6 games. I’m shocked there was 0 push back on the ice. |

Sean literally set this blog up to happen after the game. He detailed this in the last blog he wrote.
Second, so because the conversation isn't happening on a now mostly-empty Oilers board, it's because we're all biased? Most of are in a group chat where this has been discussed at length. Everyone agrees it was stupid, dangerous and deserving of a lengthy suspension. Happy now, slugger? |

One year too many. If holland can trade lucic to a team looking for toughness, he’ll find a team to take Kassian. |

I’m doing good my friend. Yourself?
I’m a wee bit hesitant to call Holland a “good” GM. He did some pretty questionable poop in his final few years in Detroit. |

Lol!!! You got Neal!! I’d say it’s fair to say no one won that trade. Although I’m loving Looch the last couple weeks. |

Things are good! Just wondering if Gaudreau will ever score on a breakaway. |

Ol’ Johnny Five Hole? Yeah, probably not.
Tkachuk really should give that midget some stick handling lessons. |

The better player is Neal, who will be Seattle bound. Flames are stuck with a player who can’t skate and who’s fighting abilities are diminishing. Bad trade for the flames man |
