Kings did the right thing. Jim Benning made an already too soft team without Ferland even softer losing big grinder Schaller and replacing him with smaller Toffoli. It is the Canucks way to make dumb moves when all they have to do is cross a T and dot an I. |

Seriously, why does Canucks ownership pay a 7 figure salary to GM's to make a team softer in the playoffs where you make actual significant profit and the re sale value of your team increases? Every Stanley Cup winner has LOTS of size. The physical play goes way way up and the opposing D will have no fear of the soft Vancouver forwards playing the perimeter on the PP and not crashing and banging on the forecheck. This is not complicated. |
