Kreider playing tonight, Buch probably not - jimbro83
I really hope this car accident doesn't play mind games with Buch and he is afraid of contact the rest of the season |

I have actually been impressed with him a number of times when he has the puck on his stick. It's his play without the puck that needs developing. Much like 99% of the rookies to ever play in the league! - Tonybere
I just haven’t seen enough🤷🏻♂️It’s very rare where I’ve said oh wow he looks great. He shoots it right into the goalies crest and his passes are like Shea Weber slap shots lol
I’m just worried about him, I hope I’m wrong obviously. I do think if we miss the playoffs, and Hartford makes it, that he’ll go there for some playoff experience
And I’m not even talking about play away from the puck that concerns me. |

The only good thing is the top 3 from the draft, Hughes Kakko Dach all are within 1 point of each other. If one of those guys were lighting it up maybe I’d be worried, I think it’s more he’s on the 3rd line and he’s a rookie trying to find himself. |

I hope so man.
Hughes hasn’t been much better so maybe you’re right. I still think a stint in Hartford is the best medicine, if we’re eliminated. Just to get some confidence. He does seem to let slumps get to him also |

Look at the 3rd line though. Chytil 22 points Kakko 20 points Lemeuix 15 points Howden 14 points. All have 50+ games played. Kind of how I wanted the Panarin/Zib duo broken up from the moment we signed Panarin is how I want that 3rd line broken up, I just don’t see how to make the lines work.
Maybe a 3rd line of Buch Chytil Fast? Put one of Howden and Kakko on each of the top 2? I just think that 3rd line is to young and they’re all pressing. Maybe playing with 2 vets each would slow them down and take some pressure off. |

I would try Gauthier with Chytil and Kakko (big strong and fast).
I see what your saying, but you can’t break up the top 6, they’ve all been rolling (assuming Buch is healthy). |

lol, but if we put each young guy with 2 vets, we would have about 3 young guys left over and sitting in the press box!
It's a product of having the youngest squad in the league. Some of these guys are going to take a slow road to improve, but management still felt they could learn more/faster than playing against inferior opponents in Hartford. |
