I would try Gauthier with Chytil and Kakko (big strong and fast).
I see what your saying, but you can’t break up the top 6, they’ve all been rolling (assuming Buch is healthy). - Slimtj100
My ideal lineup would be
Panarin Strome Kakko
Kreider Zib Howden
Buch Chytil Gauthier
Lemeuix DiGuispeppe Fast |

I swear, I got 1 thousand fans on twitter telling me Howden isn't good and should be in the AHL and I got one here telling me he belongs on the 2nd line |

I'm torn about him. I think he is a solid player but he looks like bottom 6 material. He probably won't fare too well with 2nd or 1st line duty. He's no Jesper Fast. |

Howden is bottom 6 material but he's valuable, he's still making peanuts next year and can provide minutes and grit, we need that in the 2020-21 cap crunch
but he's in danger of being plucked by Seattle for sure |

Lemeuix DiGuispeppe Fast - nyrangers9479
I think the reason that DQ likes Fast with Panarin and Strome is because he does things that allow the more skilled players to play their game. He forechecks hard to retrieve the puck for them, and he's defensively responsible which allows those two to take more risks. We always talk about how Panarin is so good at stopping the breakout by being aggressive, but without Fast I'm not sure he's able to do that confidently. It doesn't look sexy having a guy like Fast on that line but he's really effective.
Don't see how you can break up the KZB line after the run they've been on and giving CK that contract. |

Exactly right on Fast. He doesn't get the points but I would argue he is directly responsible for a lot of them.
In saying that, I really want to see someone a little more skilled get that spot next year |

Assuming Kravtsov makes it next year, Kakko jumps up where Fast is and Byfield plays with Kravtsov and we start a rookie line all over again
Byfield is my dream, and I’m Tom Burton now
Quit for quinton!
Or Be bad for Byfield |

Biron was on radio today and he expects Hank to play elsewhere and agree to move on. Rangers really wanna keep Georgy he made it sound like. I guess he has some ears in on MSG
Hank isn’t thrilled, as we know |

I get the sentiment but why? With the rest of this year and the offseason, if we go into next year with:
KZB
Panarin - Strome - Fast
Gauthier - Chytil - Kakko
That could be a really really strong top 9 and doesn't even include the possibility of Kravtsov coming up.
Again, it may be more fun to watch someone like Kakko with Panarin, but at the end of the day we want to win games, not score goals. There's some correlation there but not a ton (see Florida). Panarin leads all forward in +/- and I think Fast is a big part of that. |

Why the love for Byfield? I've seen him play a few times this year and he's very good, just wondering why he's your target |
