I would prefer to get Puljujarvi over Anderson personally. He's younger, healthier, should be cheaper to acquire and to sign, and I feel he has a higher ceiling.

The Sabres are full of players who have higher ceilings.... They just cant seem to get very far off the floor...

A proven 50 goal scorer is someone that has done it multiple times.

Same for anyone that has scored 20, 30, or 40. If you only do it once you have the potential to do it again. Prove you can do it again and again. That’s what makes you a proven anything.

Skinner is a proven 30 goal scorer as he’s done it 4 times with a 40 goal season in there.

Well he’s missed 19 or more games 2 of the last 4 years.

At this point it’s proven he’s relatively healthy every other year.

Pilut hasn't played for the Sabres since Feb. 9. He hasn't picked up a point in nine appearances with Buffalo this season. Pilut will replace Colin Miller in the lineup against Winnipeg.

Perhaps he was being shopped and that's why Botts felt our offer was better. Florida not wanting to take on salary, not wanting to trade within the division and wanted someone who could somewhat fill Trocheck's spot could all be part of why Florida didn't trade with us.
