I am not saying 'everything' can't be a factor, but this is a bit like trying to tell if you have a stomach ache while undergoing Chemotherapy.

I definitely know the reason I suck is because I have no good players. It's also technically possible that the ones I have are bumholes, just like I could have a stomach bug while I'm dying of cancer.

If I get a good team on paper, and still don't win, maybe I'll look at intangibles. But the reason they suck is very tangible right now, so why borrow trouble?

It wouldn't have helped us even one bit this year.

That's really the worst part of it. He has traded away draft picks for veteran players, traded veteran players for draft picks, played guys in the NHL right away, sent guys back to the minors without giving them a shot to take a roster spot, said we have to change over the roster and then not done it, laughed that anyone would fire Housley and then fired Housley, said they want to see if Reinhart can drive his own line and then never played him apart from Eichel, traded players like OReilly just because they said they weren't having fun and asked for a trade, but then didn't trade Risto for saying the exact same thing, trade some UFA's when he is out of it for assets but then not others and sometimes buys and sells at the same time, etc.

It's impossible to understand what he is trying to do. He makes little tweaks like he is a division winning team, lateral little side moves that might make you 1% better. I've no idea what his plan for getting from the bottom 7 of the NHL to the top 7 is, and I'm pretty sure he doesn't have any idea either.
