Mittelstadt and Cozens are completely different players.

It’s like comparing Eichel and Reinhart

- Pegullaville

Or TyMy and Chara. tHeRe BiTH tALl!!!

This team sucks and has had poopty drafting since time immemorial. Ooooh!goalifson scores a few. Real teams seemto find an Olofsson every g-d year. We get Pussssy McGee mittlepoopzzz and al the other love able losers who should be good to compete in 2035.

Idk t know how many of you people watch other teams play like no sabres games, but it is Amazing to see the speed, passing, effort, and hocjey stuff that is on display. Watch the sabres?3/5 of the time I’m on here back reading and not even paying attention to the game because i foolishly spend 39 bucks a month to watch the shiiiiyiest tram ever play. I d rather watch girl hockey at least they try.

I’m gonna MayBe become a Vegas fan. They don’t suck the nutzzz as much as s this team.

What do you mean? They are both core players and make each other better. I've been told.
- Boss34

I should clarify before I have a bunch of posters breathing down my neck, it’s more a stylistic comparison not that Cozens is Eichel or Mittelstadt is Reinhart.

Mittelstadt had elite raw skill coming out of the draft, and as we have seen over the course of the past two years, has struggled with the physical component of playing in a grown mans league (conditioning, strength, effort/tenacity)

Cozens has speed for days and has an intriguing size for a player that can move that fast (however he also needs to add weight like any other 19 year old kid). The debate amongst Cozens pre-draft was does he have enough raw skill to be a top 6 forward or would he be an effective bottom 6 player. Cozens is looking like a pretty good bet to be that top 6 player and can beat you a variety of different ways even if it isn’t flashy.

Comparing Cozens and Mittelstadt is like comparing apples to oranges.

Here we go. On a hockey website:

More libtard propaganda about a hoax disease.

Mike pence and our orange leader are more than qualified to deal with this fake news "virus".

We couldn't be in better hands, thank God the birther with all the fake Harvard degrees isnt in charge.

This article calls his legacy questionable:

https://stmarysmusings.sb...thampton-chairman-feature

His main job was to make Southampton a franchise worth buying, not a championship caliber one.

- buffalofan19

I'm sure you can find some "Botterill is a genius" articles too. I mean, people are trying to trade Eichel in here. People are wrong.

Highly doubt the Wild want to move on from him. He is young and fits their timeline. I could see them moving Staal, Zuccarello, Parise
- Pegullaville

I mean more so when the Wild traded for Fiala and the kind of player he was at the time, meaning down season, but young with skill, and still RFA rights.

Spinning off Dave Pagnotta’s comments on Botterill last week...after some conversations the last day or so I have the sense it’s more likely than not that we see a change at GM for the Sabres.

To be clear, nothing is 100% decided but that’s my sense right now. (1/2)

This probably isn’t surprising with how the season is unfolding but thought it was worth sharing that tidbit from some discussions.

To this point, expectations in the organization have not been met.

The above is the Bat signal for J Crag Crumple.

If that happens that would be one way to get this coach out of here, a new GM.

Have you heard that or just hoping for it? The Pegulas seem like the type that are easily amazed by certain types. I thought that he would have them under a spell for at least a couple of years like the others did.

My biggest fear was that the success of mcdermott and beane meant the pegulas would ride or die with stability in the sabres too

Hopefully the whispers mean the success of mcdermott and beane made them realize they don't have the right guys for the sabres

They like Botterill and he only answers to Pegula, which is problem number 1. I didn't hear either would be gone but they both should be. We seem to have a lot of cap space this offseason, Botterill heading that charge is a problem IMO. I know we keep canning coaches and gm's but what else can you do with all these huge contracts, not that easy to dump players.
