We could of traded for Ennis, Athanasiou, Zucker, Burakovsky, Namnitsnikov who can produce those same numbers for a fraction of the cost.

Will they produce as many chances as Skinner ? Absolutely not, but last time I checked the score shows the goals that went into the net not the ones that were directed towards it.

yes we could of signed all those other players you mentioned but guess what, we didn't so I think we all have to get over it. Skinner will be fine, We can all agree that this team needs a #2 center, we get that and Skinner will start to light the lamp again.

Yes he is having a very down year and we all wish he scored more but IMO he is not part of the problem but will be a bigger part of the solution.

We are a bottom 10 team again. We didn’t need to sign him at that albatross contract. He should of been offered a reasonable one before the deadline last year and then traded if he didn’t sign.

Signing him to this horrible contract has done nothing this year and will only look Okposo like in future years

Don't think he gets cut unless his immediate replacement is acquired. I highly doubt they will need the cap space. He's there for rotational depth and won't get cut for the sake of it.

He'd be a McCoy scenario. Find a guy who can better his reps, and he's gone.

Skinner is not Jack, leon, McDavid, Ovie.... HE CANT drive play. he needs better players around him to produce.

The sabres have the third most cap space this off season.

As much as it hurts to turn the page on this season Botts will have the off season to make this team a playoff team.

He can use the cap space to sign UFAs but also to trade for good players from teams strapped with salary.


This off season is a make or break moment.
