I think the guy in the glasses is actually Carcillo. Is that possible? I forget when everybody came and went!
And with his hand in the air might be Ryan Graves. |

I thought Talbot was behind Quickie.
And a little respect for the Freddie Mercury shirt, please.
I thought that was Smitty, but I guess that doesn't fit the timeline!
Edit:
You were right, that is Talbot in the front. Behind Quickie is none other than Ranger Jesus, Tanner Glass!! |

The guy in the beard and glasses isn’t a player I don’t think. Doesn’t look recognizable. He’s probably a bicentennial stewardess |

I know I'm an outsider looking in, but even after these losses I would be incredibly shocked if you guys don't make it. Everyone they're chasing, or chasing them, are way more injured than the Rangers. Just seems like everything is lined up for them to get in. Also, you have a free 2 points coming against us Saturday |

Well, there's a kiss of death if ever I've seen one!
Things look pretty good, but the one thing you can't do with our squad is predict what they are going to play like!!
Would love to make it, though. Even if we get our asses handed to us in 4 games it would be a great experience for the youngen's. |

Yup I agree. None of these teams are taking control of the wild card spots.
Rangers need Shesty back ASAP, because he’s capable of winning every game they play with him |

Being conservative based on what they said originally, 2 weeks re-evaluated for Shesty, I’m giving him 3 weeks and he’ll be back playing. That’s 11 games left they’ll have him back for. Getting through the next 5 w/o him gonna be tough tho, they need to win tomorow and Saturday for sure. Then get 3 pts on the road trip next week. Need an effort like last night vs Caps tomorrow
Don’t give up the dream folks!! |

East wild card bubble teams are a combined 1-10 last 11 games between them all with Florida it’s 1-13
It’s there for taking for all of 5 of them. |

At the risk of being Debbie Downer this 3 game skid may be the nail in the coffin. I got bored on a conference call earlier and did some napkin math.
Since Thanksgiving NY is only the 7th best team in the East with 48 pts in 43 games. If the East continues to produce pts/gm at the rate they have since Thanksgiving NY would end with 92 pts which is 5 pts shy of Carolina.
However the Rangers had that same 48 pts in only 40 games played before the skid. The difference in pts/gm up to that point would have projected them to finish with 97 pts and +5 in the Regulation Wins tiebreaker over Carolina.
It's not impossible. See: Blues, St. Louis circa 2019
But they will need help

I think the simple answer if they make it or not is Igor coming back before it’s to late. Numbers mean squat to me, no offense
He doesn’t lose games
Also, that chart isn’t taking into account the Canes are playing AHL goalies right now |
