Moreso if Perfetti is (as you said) guaranteed top 5 where does that put Rossi, you know the guy who is in the same league as Perfetti but with 9 more points in 5 less games, who is better defensively and offensively than Perfetti, and has the same amount of points as Connor McDavid (I herd he turned out to be quite good) and more points than Lafrenière, and yet even Rossi is not a consensus top 5 pick, so where are you getting this perfetti GUARENTEED TOP 5 crap from ?

Theres multiple rankings that have him top 5. Craig Button, Steve Kournianos, DobberHockey, the NHL.com writers who have a consensus ranking, Consentino has him 6, ect. Should i keep going? Do you ever watch anything on prospect updates or just look at rankings on their eliteprospects page which may or may not actually be up to date? Most of those rankings are from 2 months ago, and in the case of the ones you listed that are actually more recent, 2 of them, all moved him up from previous outdated rankings. Rossi and him are pretty close but Rossi is also on arguably the most stacked team in the CHL so his point totals are inflated, on a team that has 5 players with more points than the next guy on Saginaw behind Perfetti. Rossi is also smaller, 5'8 1/4 compared to 5'10 3/4 is a noticeable difference, which we already know can make players fall further than they should. They even talked about it on the TSN deadline show in their draft section, raving about how highly Perfetti has climbed in the minds of scouts. As of now the top 5 seems pretty locked at Laf, Byfield, Stutzle, Drysdale, Perfetti, with a chance of Byfield falling depending who's on the board, and i doubt that changes considering theres a chance none of these kids play another game until the draft. The key point in all of this is its incredibly unlikely that he would even get close to being available at 10. Thats my point. If anybody in the 2-9 tier falls it'll be Lundell, and the only way he falls is if a team decides to reach on a D, specifically Sanderson

They'll be in the next lottery i believe right? If it follows the same rules as Vegas i think they'll be given the 3rd or 4th best odds if i remember correctly. So maybe they can win the lottery for Aatu Räty next year, which is meh. Weak year for the #1 pick

He's not wrong, Perfetti will probably be gone by pick 5 or 6, he may go as high as 3.

Let me give you an example, Colin Cudmores 20 Most Underrated Players, (link below) has 34 sources for Rossi that have him between 5 and 8 and although that still wouldn't make him a guarantee at any spot it's more then 4 or 5, and look at the other guys in his list 26 sources, 30, but you think 4 or 5 people having Perfetti top 5 in there mock draft earns him the status of GUARENTEED. You can say that Lafrenière is GUARENTEED number 1 because 40 plus scouts have him there, but from 3 to 9 no one is GUARENTEED a thing.

ECHL officially cancelled now, such a shame for everyone involved. I wonder how many more leagues it'll happen to, whether its pro or junior. Really sucks

Well see here's where you're wrong. The OP was about us getting Perfetti at 10. I worded what i said very carefully. 3 times i said he is "more than likely to go in the top 5-6", he is "all but guaranteed to go top 5", and "pretty much guaranteed top 5". I never actually said he is fully 100% guaranteed to go top 5. Every time i said some form of "likely". which he is. Now if you wanna be a twat ill go right ahead and nit pick as well. Others even agreed with what i said. The liklihood of him being available at 10 is incredibly low, its not happening. Rossi is 5ft9 not 5ft8, and has 1.5357 primary, not secondary points per game while Perfetti only has 1.3115, only Lafrenière has better then Rossi (just about) thus showing that Rossi's states are not inflated by his teammates, his teammates stats (Jack Quinn, cause you know if Clarke was not injured Quinn would not have got those mins this year) are in flatted by Rossi.

Adding onto this, Chris Johnston said that the AHL wont be able to mirrior what the NHL does because of multiple different variables and it will be tougher than the NHL to resume play.

If the AHL cant resume, that's gonna be awful for everyone too but especially a team like Bing. They were on such a roll and looking more and more likely to be making the playoffs

This makes no sense at no point did I say anything about moving on, my problem was you bringing in things that had nothing to do with my original post i.e I never said anything about Perfetti being drafted at 10. I disagree with you're statement of Perfetti being all but a guaranteed top 5 pick, and based off 4 mock drafts and 1 guy on an internet forum is not enough to make me change my stance on that. No one from 3 to 9 is all but a guaranteed top 5 pick let alone Perfetti.
