Well what MLB was saying is that all the teams would play to empty stadiums in the Phoenix area from what I understand.

If the NHL were to resume that model it would be somewhere in the north.

For all the testing going on it's still in most cases less than 1% of an area's population. Also, so many deaths going on that aren't assigned to covid-19 because they aren't testing the dead.

I read today that the amount of people in NYC that typically die at home on an average day are 20-25. Right now it's over 200 per day.

I saw numbers from northern Italy a couple of weeks ago I think. They had a small town where the number of deaths were nearly 10 times the yearly average yet they'd tagged about 17% of them to covid-19.

I like how he suggests we just extend service for affected individuals like the heavily affected areas aren't running out of beds, doctors, nurses, respirators, ppe already.

I agree . I would love to see them say next year is a new year. The more I hear the less likely I think that will happen.

I know Trump was pushing telling the commissioners to get it up and running so we can get back to normal but it is not the right thing to do. IMO

I know the chaos with an unfinished year for NBA and NHL will crate havoc but it does not mean it is the right answer. Safety first.
