Absolutely. The Finnish teams in the World Jr have been unreal. Fast pace, high skill. Lots of good players coming out of there and Germany.

I don't think there's any real reason to get excited about this. He is still a huge long shot to make the NHL in any meaningful capacity.

There are a couple of other Euro prospect that have to be signed by June 1 or we lose their rights too. This is just standard management. You let some guys walk. You buy more time with others. Chances of Brattstrom ever playing in the NHL are close to zero. But you buy a bit more time just in case.
