NFL teams were exposed for playing recorded crowd noise through the speakers at games back in the early 2000's. I think Baseball as well.

I might get a little worked up in debates with you, because I hold your opinion in such high regard, and sometimes I just don’t get how stupid you are

All good man, be safe, enjoy life

I guess it is all how you interpret written tone of a message, no swarm and attack, just calmly responding to vintsy's reply.

I don’t think it is going to come to police state levels like in the US. Just be smart. If your children, or grandchildren are a little sick, maybe just keep your distance a little. Kids are the devil when it comes to spreading virus. They touch everything!

Yes true, my wife is the primary child minder for both families, or was, we see more than our fair share of viruses in this house.

Oh, I could be mistaken, but my wife watches Bonnie everyday, (I stopped a month ago, same messages, same questions, doom and gloom) and she said possibly mid month restrictions may be eased and families will be allowed to extend out to one extended family.

Golfing stated that this has been implemented in NB.

the eastern provinces are starting to ease up restrictions as active cases and new cases are really dwindling, but from the town halls i have attended, i don't think BC is going to do any sort of family extension in the next little while. I have a small meeting this morning that will discuss Bonnie and Adrian's new modelling that will be announced later today, so we should know more soon.

It's just cheesy. I remember a show on XM Radio isolating a NFL crowd track. It was just a 10 second loop and was obvious.

To be honest I'm done with this pandemic and the restrictions. So now families will have to choose who they want to extend to. Does my daughters family choose us or her husbands family to extend to when they are allowed to extend to one further family. Same for my son, it's been 7 weeks since we have hugged our grand children and we could still be on the outside if they chose the other grand parents, I can see this creating friction and it kinda pisses me off.

I think finishing the season is stupid. They should cut it down to 68 games, and the teams that make playoffs from this go to host cities based off of round 1 and 2, figure out sites for round 3 and finally 4. Give a training camp, followed by playoffs. Or just cancel it all together and plan for a late start to next season.

nothing regarding the data modelling was talked about.

I can however confirm that the virus has no known cases of exposure via toilet plume.

we should ask those who think its a hoax, or give them swirlies and then report the results to the health authorities to further report for people who actually care.

Bonnie's update probably isn't going to make you very happy in reference to social distancing with family.

social/physical distancing measures remain the most important thing in fighting this thing as per Bonnie and Adrian. No changes now or in the immediate future to these measures.

At my last job I pegged August as the earliest time things will be somewhat normalized. I still hold to that with September being more likely. About 6 mths overall to get this more than under control.

I work in mental health in NZ and we are told 6-12 months + from now before things 'return to normal'
No end in sight mate.
And this is a tiny island with the population of BC.

I have a feeling the players will vote against a return for this year and a week before the draft they will cancel the season

Hearing she gave a thumbs-up to Vancouver being a hub for return of nhl season.
Anyone know if this is true?

Edit; nvm

I’m pegging 6mths as the beginning with light at the end of the tunnel. Idk if anyone can think otherwise. A long ways to go yet & only the start. Before then some things will loosen up I’m sure but nobody should expect normal life til beyond summer or even fall.

I think you're optimistic with your projection

I think saying January 2021 for things going back to pre-covid would be optimistic, I envision we are still fighting this thing until summer/fall 2021.
