Thank's Carol,
From a $ standpoint, having the draft in early June makes sense, they'll kill it with TV viewers just like the NFL did. |

This is a half baked plan by the NHL.
It is fine to hold the draft and assign positions 1-31 , but if you do that there is no reason at all to play out the rest of this regular season.
There are many reasons to hold the draft in June but there are also many reasons to cancel this season.
You are correct though it is probably a good year to give up the pick instead of next year seeing we have a few players ready to make the jump to the NHL. |

I agree with this. Yes to assigned draft in June and No to finishing season. |

Much rather keep the 1st this year, as we have run into this problem in the past, when we didn't have picks in the 1st 2 rounds.
Next season the Canucks will be a top 10 team😁, so there isn't a concern about it being a lottery pick.
Basing off of points percentage is a slippery slope to go down, imo. It makes assumptions that games would be won at that same ratio.
As far as I am concerned, I would rather get the prospect into the system sooner, rather than later. |

Going to need a great coach to get everyone prepared. Canucks looking good then. |

Sure wouldn't want to be Winnipeg, if they base it on points percentage, they would have 2 teams, Canucks and Preds make playoffs, while they would be on the outside, with more points. |

Maybe you guys can dip deep enough into his retirement fund that he'll have to work an extra couple of years. Save his wife some grief. |
