More fuking more Brackett drama, fire the guy then or deal with the situation FFS.

- VanHockeyGuy

Scouts carry a tremendous amount of intellectual property. It would be unethical for him to be part of another teams draft team this season.

Not that I’m a Ford guy, but what he said about easing restrictions in Ont is pretty much what you just said - to paraphrase “if you reduce restrictions in Kingston but not Toronto, people from Toronto will go to Kingston.
- 1970vintage

I am not a Ford guy either, but, he has handled this situation quite well, at least. IMO

They shouldn't be bringing in people out of their province right now period though.

True ...but if they were tested and it came back negative and they showed no symptoms ...would it not be acceptable?

They are still about a month away from reliable, quick mobile testing.

Even a wife with great knockers is not worth this much drama

Genuine question. What were you most recently banned for?
- Codes1087

The last ban was for something in the Leafs blog I think. It was Leafs related if I'm not mistaken.

It just seems like that because you get labelled as both regularly. For the rest of us, the label comes up a bit more than usual but is very manageable

Testing has such massive limitations because of the 14 day incubation period though. You could be positive but draw a negative result due to the sensitivity of the testing.

If the guy wants to walk then walk already. Enough of the drama.

You would think he is the last scout on earth.

So... not enough autonomy. Meaning Benning calls the shots and has much more to do with drafting. Meaning Brackett is completely expendable, as that strategy is clearly working for this team.

23 new cases of covid19 in BC in 24 hours but we are talking about lifting restrictions. Just my opinion, it just seems very ill-timed.

All new cases are related to the two outbreaks at the chicken factories I believe, so contained and not unexpected.

Also, it said in the newspaper this morning that they expect the numbers to rise as we lift restrictions but not to an unmanageable level. Just what I read in the TC.

According to my town hall, the majority were, but not all.
It's pretty obvious as restrictions begin to lift, we will see numbers increase, which only makes sense. It will happen no matter when we start to lift them. I just think it's too early to do this.

Howdy...

Today's new blog kicks off with my walk down memory lane as I re-watched the dramatic Game 6 of Canucks-Blackhawks on Tuesday, then dives into the Judd Brackett saga and wraps up with a few words on Brendan Leipsic's rough road ahead.
