Have you read about Trumps announcement from Phoenix today? Basically, the US has to open now, and yes, more people will probably get sick (and die) but Americans are warriors. Also disbanding the task force (the medical people who steered him wrong) in favor of other experts who will advise on opening strategies.

Seriously, I sure hope the borders and flights from the US remain closed.

It was NYT I think where I read it, so they probably just made the whole thing up.

Vantel just doesn’t have his thinking cap on.

But it’s crazy to give credit to JB for something he hasn’t done while throwing shade at Gillis for actually achieving it multiple times.

I had an epiphany last night, how Mike Gillis is directly responsible for the current (and future potential) success that the Canucks are having now. It’s very complex, most wouldn’t understand it.

As countries reopen, it's clearly going to be in cautious sections: neighborhoods, then areas/districts, then people can travel throughout the province/state, then the country, then as New Zealand and Australia are talking about travel between set borders.

With the US as the continued epicenter of the outbreak and no real end in sight, why the (frank) would anyone want to open travel to them?

Would you like to share your epiphany? I’m sure everyone’s thrilled to rehash a Gillis leadership discussion.

CopyAndPaste Gang have the reruns (diarrhea) lol

It’s one thing for someone to have an opinion & a whole other thing to rephrase, rinse & repeat, reword the same drivel every blog & every day week after nauseating week.

I’m hoping Canada keeps the border closed for non-essential travel with the US, and anyone entering the country has to shelter in place for 14 days. Sucks for our tourism economy, but...

Ya, tourism is going to take a massive hit this year everywhere, but the cost of a bad tourism season versus the cost of another COVID flare up...

I've read that some travel people think while international travel is going to take a hit, staycations are going to see a big uptick in the coming year.
