but in the NHL if you don't score over 50+ points or throw huge checks, you get underrated.
Don't forget putting up huge Corsi. That's the most important. |

I think it's more about being on the most boring team in hockey that keeps him under the radar... |

Tamsy, can you remind us how smart you are? I always forget. Is it a million times, or a billion times smarter than the rest of us put together?

What about “First Ballot Hall of Famer” (according to Eklund) Ryan Suter? |

It's because of comments like this that people like Trump get elected. |

Lockdowns are messing with people's brains...except in Sweden where they didn't lockdown, and the liberal experts predicted 40,000 deaths by May and 100,000 deaths by June. They are at 2,600. The "R Number" in Sweden is 0.85, which is just marginally higher than Britain at 0.8. The experts warned that if Sweden refused to lockdown then their R Number would be at least 3 or 4 (ie every infected person would infect 3 or 4 others). Never happened. |

Not sure Sweden is a fair standard. They have the benefit of already being a culture largely steeped in collective action for the good of the general population which made it an easier transition for its people to adopt such a sudden change in lifestyle. Further, they're also generally cleaner than most places in the world.
Alongside it's smaller and less dense population (compared to places like Germany) and Denmark closing its borders very early (effectively preventing most usual land travel into the country from nearby hotspots and air travel from Kastrup), they had things going in their favour that other countries didn't. |

Fox news wants people to think Sweden is doing fine because then they can say their guy isn't mainly responsible for the astounding level of carnage that he is very much responsible for.
If you dig into the Sweden stuff, they aren't doing well at all. |

They're not doing perfectly, but they're doing pretty well all things considered.
Also, I don't think that's true at all. The number of democrats or supporters that spent the early signs of potential outbreak shouting "xenophobia" or "sinophobia" at the mere mention of shutting down flights from China or other impacted areas was absurd. The results wouldn't have been much different regardless of who was in power and that's what's truly disconcerting. |

I used to work with Jared's dad and I remember him being hesitant about even letting him go to Spokane in the WHL. Kinda crazy a dozen years later and yup... Spurgeon is a stud for the Wild |

You have to imagine how crazy it is that the President met the bare minimum requirement of being as smart as a hockey blogger for the league's least popular team. |
