I have seen a lot of guessing . I don't believe your comment. If a normal flu can be contacted on a door handle I can't see why CV 19 cant

One guy went into 3 bar in Seoul Korea and reportedly 37 people got infected .

I think if I go out then I have to accept a risk of anything is possible.

His comment was just repeating what the CDC said. Not his opinion.

The night club situation is about being indoors in close proximity of a high number of people. Sharing breathing space. Although I'm sure if you picked up someones drink and used the straw or put your mouth on the area of the glass that an infected person touched with their mouth, the risk would be extremely high.

Sucking face with a drunk at the end of the night is probably risky but it's always been that way.

The difference is that in other business you can put in place precautions to keep your employees and customers “safe”. Tough to stop a guy from spitting on the bench. Will the NHL put hand washing stations in at the bench? Just stupid stuff like that. I’m up to my ears in safety precautions at work as we plan to open Monday.

Enjoy, I've been working through most of this aside from a 2 week isolation period. Luckily I'm outdoors but it's been quite an experience.

I didn't say I don't believe his opinion . I said I don't believe his comment. He in fact did state it was CDC.

Everyone can treat it how they want . I am treating it as a super flu/virus. I will wash my hands regularly because I believe you can contact it by touch.

CDC isnt telling people you cant catch it off surfaces so washing your hands is still very important of course.

Right now, if someone tests positive for Covid, they want all the people that person was in contact with to isolate as well. What if a hockey player tests positive during the playoffs? Obviously the plan isnt to shut down his team and the team that player played against.

So many questions...

- boonerbuck

The “rules” are different everywhere you go. In BC, my understanding is that if you develop symptoms you need to self isolate for 7 days, and need to be symptom free for a minimum of 3 days without the aid of medication, prior to returning to work. This assumes that you contracted the disease 5-7 days prior to symptoms, which lines up with the two weeks thing.

If one NHL player contracts it, it’s a safe bet that everyone in their pod will get sick too.

CDC now says you most likely won’t get it from a surface .... wonder what happened to the good science they had before telling us it could last on different surfaces for long lengths of time ....
- Redmile247

You referring to that Fox News article, referencing the CDC/WHO update where they basically said wash your hands, disinfect common use surfaces, don’t cough on people and Fox said it’s safe now, you can all go about your business?

Just read that iMac said Virtanen, McCann Boeser, Joulevi are Benning picks and Pettersson, Hughes, Podz are Brackett picks.

Interesting coming from iMac as he tends to be the organization mouthpiece. Wonder if the relationship is changing or something else as this certainly doesn't make Benning look great in the Brackett drama.

I personally subscribe to the notion that all good and bad decisions land at a GM's feet so I don't really care if Brackett goes but an iMac revolt would be news.
